I love that cobalt is in this season. It's great for adding color (other than the many shades of turquoise) to your wardrobe and pairs perfectly with dark denim and lapis jewels — like this to-die-for lapis lazuli stamped silver cuff handmade by Navajo jeweler Aaron Toadlena. Being blue-eyed, I love pairing my favorite black skinny jeans with anything cobalt (black makes the blue pop best!) — and I can't wait to add this Dime Store Cowgirl felt to my closet. After all, not only is it made in my color, but it's also named after one of my favorite Kacey Musgraves songs.

The Midnight Troubadour

The Midnight Troubadour

Tough and timeless, this polo is built for the long ride. Featuring a crisp, non-collapsing collar and a rugged, stretchy fabric, it's the perfect shirt for any cowboy's wardrobe.

Two other ideas for adding interest to your look: cheetah prints and embellishments — like those of Lucchese's Spirit of the West suede booties, a funky design for the typically classic bootmaker, and this Roja denim shirt jacket, which is not just beaded but also studded, ribboned, and fringed.

Fit-and-flare denim shirt jacket from the Urban Cowgirl Collection by Roja, from Cowgirl Kim ($220). Dime Store Cowgirl hat by Charlie 1 Horse ($120). Spirit of the West suede ankle boots by Lucchese, from Wheelers Feed & Outfitters ($239.99). One-of-a-kind lapis lazuli and sterling silver teardrop cuff by Aaron Toadlena, from Castle Gap ($1,100).
